Branding Project
A Nautral Pottery Studio
This pottery studio hosts parties, classes, and education about the art of ceramics. Located in a small idyllic beach town, it was nestled in between a bookshop and coffee parlor. The location is perfect for tourists or locals to make a stop with their families while enjoying the summer weather.
Despite its local draw, the pottery studio did not have a way to market itself with a logo or brand identity. My design studio created a playful, fun logo and color palette with plenty of character. The shapes in the logo reflected how one rolls out shapes with their hands while molding clay.
This brand identity was able to be used for marketing collatoral such as business cards and brochures, but also draw customers from the street into an inviting and creative environment.
Branding + Social Media
Spicy Food with attitude
Hot Stuff Southwestern Grill was opened in 2021. The restaurant is your go-to spicy Americana diner with a Southwestern vibe. Located in Scottsdale, Arizona is had enjoyed steady popularity over the last two years.
Until 2023, they had been using paper menus, a hand-painted sign for the exterior, and had no clear cohesiveness with their logo. My goal was to create a clear brand that reflected their loud flavors in the color palette and design choices. I was able to create deliverables that could be used by their customer base, and attract new customers through their social media channels.
Branding + Social Media
An Empowering Yoga Studio
From one Yoga Instructor to another, Sam and Frida were working together on a Yoga workshop in 2020. They had over a decade of instructor experience working for various studios and traveling all around the world.
When these two ladies met, they had a shared vision for a holistic, vibrant studio space where they wanted their solo careers to take off. In 2021 they left their comfortable yoga spaces, to embark on their own business.
For their brand identity, I wanted to create a wise and sage-like identity that showed the holistic side of their brand, as well as the "free bird" in their studio name. The design is simple, clean, and versatile. Rooted in the strategy of attracting women that shared their values and vision, it has been a staple of the studio since its opening. It has been used in signage, social media, merch, and marketing collateral.
Branding + Website
A Luxurious Hair EXPERIENCE
A new hair salon in Huntsville, Alabama popped up that needed a sophisticated, feminine branding suite. The salon owner, Vanessa, has one of the most extensive hair-styling careers, ranging from celebrities like Cher to Miley Cyrus.
She needed a logo design that reflected a distinct and elegant look. Lock and Luxe brings a modern and inclusive twist with plenty of color and edge. The colors and logo are luxurious and feminine. This is also reflected in their website and social media which is set to attract women who are looking for the ultimate hair experience.
Roam Local is European Travel Agency that enhances a European traveler's experience by connecting local artisans, makers, and businesses to them. Their mission is to create a memorable experience that allows tourists to get a unique perspective of the country that they visit, while providing a customer base to the authentic locals.
Roam Local needed a brand suite that was bright, eye-catching, and sophisticated to attract their ideal customer base. My strategy was to make a versitile brand suite that could be used digitally, on physical marketing collateral, and was true to their mission.
Steven Taylor is a blues player whose roots come from talented Harmonica Player Greg "Fingers" Taylor as well as his own band. He needed a brand identity that reflects how far he has come since his EP and latest release Touch and Go. Steven also loves to fish whenever he travel to play with his own self-proclaimed favorite catch the Pike fish.
The challenge was the intertwine fishing and blues into a design, while reaching his target audience and reaching potential new listeners. I hand-drew his logo to be funky and soulful, as well as bring forth blues, greens, and black in his branding that is seen in other Blues' musicians. My design is used on Album Covers, Merchandise, Posters, and his Digital Marketing channels.

I do not give you printing services for your business. The reason is that is much more cost effective for you to print your materials, and pick them up a print shop, or have them mailed to you. I am more than happy to give you advice on how to pick out a good printing service. If we do package designs, you will need to direct me to the vendor so that I can design according their specifications. Unless we have package designs, the digital files I'll provide should be good for any kind of printing you choose.
